Meet Our Team
-
Justin Chen | he/him | Founder
Hi! I’m Justin, the founder, and creator of Colors of Joy, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting our impacted community through art. Having seen the positive impact that my own art has made on my friends and family, I wanted to create a way to spread that joy to others. The isolation that many seniors and those in long-term care faced, especially during the peak of the COVID pandemic is something that is often overseen and art was a platform I saw to help these people. With this organization. I hope to bring positive change and joy through Artful Transformations, One Piece at a Time!

Mira Liu | any | Media Coordinator
Hi I’m Mira! As an aspiring artist looking to pursue a career in the same field, I want to share my passion with those who need an emotional pick-me-up in their lives. As we work toward our goal, I hope we can benefit our community through the shared love of art!

Tay Lieu | she/they | Outreach Coordinator
Hi! I’m Tay. A few of my hobbies are reading, building legos, and of course, drawing. Art has been a very big motivator in my life, and I’m hoping I can use my talents to motivate others as well. I’m excited to work with everyone to help the community!

Sophie Han | she/her | Volunteer Coordinator
Hello, my name is Sophie! As a senior in high school, I enjoy volunteering with my community. Being a lead volunteer with my community service organization has led to me experience working with people from many different backgrounds. I found that through art, I was able to manage my stress and anxiety, and I would like to share that with others!
